ABOUT US
Krav Maga Wellington and Self Defence Training Limited is a New Zealand social enterprise established in 2015. We're affiliated with the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF) and our goal is to help people become more confident in developing their self defence skills.
GABRIEL MOLINA
CIVILIAN INSTRUCTOR - G3
Gabriel has been teaching krav maga since 2015. He was trained and certified by Tim Alexander - Expert 4 (IKMF Continental Instructor) and Israel Tamir - Expert 5 (IKMF Global Instructor). He works as a diabetes clinical nurse specialist and has an extensive background in adult education.
BIANCA HUI WANG
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Bianca is a P1 IKMF student and she manages Krav Maga Wellington. She works in the government sector as an accountant and has a bachelor's degree in commerce with experience in business operations and events management.
AVI MOYAL
CHAIR - IKMF
Avi Moyal is the head of the IKMF. He is based at IKMF head quarters in Israel with the IKMF Global Instructor Team. Avi teaches krav maga internationally to civilian, people with disabilities, bodyguards, law enforcement, and military units.
IMI LICHTENFELD
(26 May 1910 - 9 January 1998)
In 1948, once Israel had declared its independence, the Israeli Defence Force requested Imi to develop a system of self-defence and fighting based on his experience and work with special force units. During his 20 years of service as chief instructor of hand-to-hand combat, Imi carefully refined the methods of krav maga making it the official combative training for all Israeli military personnel, police, and security forces.
